What happens to children after losing a parent? An open-access study led by Sean Esteban McCabe, PhD, with contributions from Rebecca J. Evans-Polce, PhD (UMSN) and Luisa Kcomt, found significantly higher mortality rates among children who experienced parental death due to overdose, homicide, or suicide.
